To be frank, 8 opponents' minor points(exclude 2008八连负) and 9 opponents' minor point can make one or two rank difference.

for those playing with me, they cannot expect me to lost to them and then playing even harder later to get 对手分 for them.

I play hard for each and every game, for me to get higher points will include winning of them too, you cannot expect best of both worlds.

Anyway, I will not give away points for any competition.

As the 3rd man in SIXGA, you are part of the team to promote Xiangqi Development in Singapore and more important is to provide direction for Xiangqi Development in Singapore.

Your discouragement remarks for low skill players including me even in personal capacity is no good to your image as 3rd man and also to SIXGA too. Please be more careful in your postings.

I use "2008八连负" as my name in 悟入棋途 is not only to remind myself of my poor performance in 2008 National Open Group A but at the same time I want to encourage other players to come out to join the competitions. Whether I put in more effort later to improve my skill should not stop me to join future competitions if time permits. Yes, 对手分 may affect other players in their rankings, but we are getting the best to represent our Nation, they should not be selected just due to having higher 对手分 from me. They should count on their own strengths.

at the beginning of round 8 that he cannot make it to top 4 because he was 'unlucky' got one 'horse' that cannot 'run'.

I only played with two players in Top 8. You can check with both regarding my games with them.

Round 6 when I saw him and another player doing calculation of points after Round 5. When he try to work out the pairing manually for Round 7 after Round 6, I told him to go back to sleep and pairing information will be shown in 悟入棋途 as usual after midnight.

In fact, He needs to blame himself !!! This is the end result of strategy draw for him.

Some other players played lowest score opponent who can give him atleast 2 minor points. So in a way, he can justified his claim for being unlucky.

when he know his pairing with me, he might feel lucky at that time, after the event if he could not get into top 8 or top 4, he just try to blame others, this is not the right way. Learn hard and try to get to the top .... I will stop here.

This player should request the organiser to arrange other top 8 players to play with me except him so that he may have a chance for the Top....:D

Its a fact. You asked whether people hope you to help them get minor points. So I told you yes. And you become defensive that people shouldn't think this way that way and he should feel lucky playing you and he not strong because he need to hard fight you. Ofcourse everyone need to hard fight you to beat you flat 8-0. Its not easy task, but they have made it and I respect all of them for playing real and hard fight chess. Its a fact, and I thought you are so proud that you tell asked people in this forum to go boonlay CC to support 9-0 result?
