某些测试显示，新加坡学生英文阅读能力胜似英美国家
一大帮人在自己平自己的水平揣测，看看这段学术文章的报告吧。里面说，PIRLS 2006 (一种国际阅读能力的测试)显示，新加坡4年纪学生超过美国，英格兰和新西兰:

当然，话说回来了，阅读测试不代表一切，但是目前也没有什么测试能测出母语能力的。
新加坡人也许整体上英文确实不如英美，中文也不如我们。双语教育的目的从来都不是两种语言都能达到母语水准。
但是两个加起来算的话，我看能比得过他们的也不多。
