Business Development Manager

3. Role:
Responsibility to develop and ‘own’ a specific sector
Proactively identify, prioritize and acquire new clients – Singapore and overseas
Develop strong and broad relationships with prospective and existing clients
Identify new sales and new product opportunities
Develop and make presentations to prospective clients - build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Circa 50% of time spent out of the office with clients
Key metrics – new client acquisition and revenue

4. Ideal Candidate
At least 5 years professional work experience with at least 3 years in sales
Excellent consultative sales and marketing skills
Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
Strong telephone communication and selling ability
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Good written and spoken English
Enthusiastic self starter, with lots of energy
Open only to Singapore citizens, PR’s and EP holders
Ideally - Worked for an Internet, media or ecommerce business previously
Ideally - Network of contacts in the Real Estate industry and an understanding of the Real Estate sector

Realistic Salary - $5-$8k/month

BD is not sales and therefore it is not a commissioned job :)

usually BD got relatively secured and stable salary which is resonably high enough. BD job in a start-up also means in the first year you may not be able to land many deals or even zero revenue, but still you get paid. :)

Not sure about bonus, but i think it is a good opportunity if someone is interested in BD function and the real estate market in general.
