In fact, discussions held in 2006 (象总) and 2007 (义顺南) previously on 团体联赛, quite a number of teams having problems in joining the 团体联赛, personally, I do not see the current situations are better than 2006 and 2007, i.e. to have 团体联赛 for 4 days or more.

2007年义顺南人民协会脑力益智挑战象棋团体赛 only held in 2 days for most of the teams except the Top 4 teams to have one more day at suntec.

由于赛期较长，我会未能组队参加2003年武吉甘柏与2004年裕华的团体联赛。

We have done a review recently for the major competitions in the past 7 years and having the following suggestions, i.e. to limit the 团体联赛 or 团体赛 to maximum of 2 days.

四人， 五人 or 六人 is not the main concern.

碧山民众俱乐部象棋会成立(于2002年6月27日)至今，七年来国内较主要/大型（最少八队与四人）的团体赛只有下列七项：

1. 2002年加基武吉第二届周亨增杯象棋团体赛 (八队，六人)
2. 2003年武吉甘柏第九届象棋团体联赛 (九队，六人)
3. 2004年裕华第十届象棋团体联赛 (八队，六人)
4. 2004年甘榜格南第一届狮城杯象棋团体赛 (A组八队，B组十四队，四人)
5. 2005年义顺南第二届狮城杯象棋团体赛 (A组八队，B组十队，四人)
6. 2007年义顺南第一届李美花杯象棋团体赛 (十四队，四人)
7. 2007年义顺南人民协会脑力益智挑战象棋团体赛 (十二队，四人)

希望个别有条件的民众俱乐部或象棋组织，在象棋总会的牵引下，能跟进主办这一类的活动，这不但能推动新加坡棋运，同时也促进各棋会间的联系。而2003年至今的一日团体赛(N队，N-1人，雅柏广场式联谊赛)，不失为一项棋队的联谊活动，但其中运气成分过高，如果一、二日团体赛是基本要求，象总与有条件的象棋组织应探讨2002年第三届直落亚逸芳林公园民众俱乐部象棋“七雄夺金马“一日循环团体赛(四人)赛制的定位，以激发棋队与棋手们的积极性，另一项可供考虑的是以队员(四人)个人赛排名总分制的全国社区(五区)团体赛(二日)。
