看来近期内在新加坡没机会玩WOW了Hello,
World of Warcraft's initial release will happen on November 23rd, 2004. On that date, the game will be available in stores in North America, Australia, and New Zealand only. You can find the full press release here:

At launch, only North American, Australian, and New Zealand customers will be able to play on the North American servers.
Shortly after the initial release, World of Warcraft will also launch locally in Europe, Korea, and China, with local servers available for play in each region. We are currently conducting pre-release Beta testing in North America, Europe, and Korea.
Blizzard has not yet announced plans for further localized releases for World of Warcraft in Singapore. Unlike our past Battle.net games, World of Warcraft requires that a complex regional server infrastructure and a local GM/support staff be in place to provide the excellent customer service and unparalleled gameplay experience that we intend to deliver. In addition, we must translate content for each region in which the game will be available so that players will be able to understand the game's text and therefore be able to enjoy it appropriately.
To meet these goals, we are taking a very thorough and measured approach to our international release plan for World of Warcraft. Establishing a stable infrastructure for our initial regions will help us evaluate the requirements for future regions where we might consider launching a local version of World of Warcraft.

btw, I heard that blizzard won't ac...)If wow does not ban ip, I maybe buy the gamecard, or use credit card to paymonthly fee. for blizzard only accept the visa or mastercard from the 4 country, i believe it is not ture.
Frist case Except USA, the other 3 are all in British Union like singapore, the credit systems are all the same i believe. 2nd, I heard that someone has sign up the new account use Japan Visa card already.
I also heard that from 30th onward the gamecard will be sold widely because there are a lot of students who play wow and do not have CC. For myself, I want to buy the WOW CE even I can not play right now, it does not matter even I have to wait a few months to play it.
Do not worry, I believe blizzard maybe do some restriction on wow players but Singapore is an exception since Singapore is in SE Asia( this place will not have a WOW official server in the future), Singapore is more close to all Westen countrys(eg, Aus, Canada, US and NZ) in both social and economic relationship than other Aisa countrys.
Btw my id is randomsin6 and randomsin7(Current one) in UW, i just play some arranged team and RT 2v2, seldom play solo.[warcraft3 (11-23 22:11, Long long ago)]
