为什么mandrake有startgnome command,但是fedora没有？mandrake下面有startgnome和startkde(还有一个starticewm不知道是干麻的)
fedora下面只有startkde和startxfce4
startx只能在本机上run，好像不能在remote的状态下使用
请问达人，fedora是不是有另外一个command跟startgnome起的作用是一样的啊？
did not try startgnome before
but I guess they are just some scripts. you can view the content of other start* and make one startgnome yourself ba.
and for remote-wise, sometimes it cannot work due to security concerns ba.
btw, X is X, Gnome is Gnome, they are separate two things.
If you want to try remove desktop, try VNC .
but still, it works only if the network admin allow data in such ports
