As you said earlier, if you had invested the same amount of money across all the 7 stocks equally. I am sure the overall return of your basket is much lower than the broader index gain.
So it is back to your investment objective, which some or us had discussed the topic earlier last year in the forum. if you are trying to beat the benchmark index, obviously this portfolio did a poor job; if you are trying to make some absolute returns, it did the job, however, under a very strong bullish market condition (which means that by just blindly throwing darts on the wall to pick up the stocks still can achieve similar result).

作事情呢， 需要讲究一个认真，如果不认真，总喜欢大而化之，很容易错误地估计自己和别人，最后在别人眼中会变成一个外表堂堂，内中空空的泥塑木胎。
比如说，本人前面帖子中用的数据是 4 月 21 日起始的，咱既然要作比较就应当苹果对苹果，梨子对梨子， 那几天波动剧烈，若你非要用 4 月 17 号来比，就不公平了，这个讨论贴也是 4 月18 号才出生的呢。
作为一个新手，我以 STI index 作 benchmark 当然是显示我的无知，阁下用 Simsci ,或者甚至以 巴菲特作 benchmark 当然是令人起敬，永远是值得我学习的榜样，有机会请多多发表您的大作。
作事情呢，还需要动脑筋，仔细判断一个东西是否符合逻辑，比如说一个人告诉你公司权证 （company warrants) 的发行有时显示是一个公司急需资金并且无法用正常途径取得，因而可能给人公司不稳定的印象。

这时候，会动脑子的人，会去检查数据，并且从逻辑上去判断，一个资金饥渴的公司，发行一个期限长达数年的公司权证是否真的能达到应急的目的？ 它和发行期权 （right） 的公司有什么区别？
动了脑筋就不会盲目迷信一些错误教条， 也就不会误失了 像 Moneymax W260914, 或者 Dyna-Mac W241022 这样的十倍神股。我们知道神股不常有，需要沙中沥金，但是既然市场赋予了这样神奇的机会，那么被不求甚解迷信教条的人误导，岂不可惜？
作人呢，有超强的自信，是非常值得赞赏的，但是呢，还需要时常能反思一下，回溯一下，检视一下，或者通过别人的反馈，来看一下自己的能力是否与这份自信匹配？
