小新小白: Pls see my clarifications
You thought the reason i was a little upset is that i mistook u as an i-banker without i-banking senses. This is not true.
I just feel that you have not given us enough info in order for us to give constructive feedback. It's no point to explain the whole specturum of banking sector to u. The enormous effort is not justifiable too. also it is quite easy to find the differences between cfa and frm, from the respective official website.
For every planned career move, one usually considers the following:
1) interests
2) strengths and weakness
3) industry outlook and career prospects
4) how to qualify
5) what makes u stand out among other qualified candidates
the list goes on and on...
It seems to me (I may be wrong) that you are more interested in 3) and 4) than 1) & 2). Or you had done your own analysis yourself but chosen not to share with us.
Anyway, I would respect your decision if you dont wish to tell us more. Wish you all the best and a happy 2005!
Sincerely yours,
CFA
