For your level of experience, you just need to apply 2-3 company and write very targeted cover letter and value proposition. 100 is just too many and not targeted, there can't be 100 jobs suitable for you.

I usually only apply 2-3 jobs and spend more than 3-5 hours to research on each individual position or company, I call up the HR directly to ask for what kind of people they are looking for and understand more about the position to show that you are really interested, so I always get interview opportunities.
