So i wrote a rough introduction about myself and my expectation for the boyfriend-to-be and posted it on two websites www.sgchinese.com.sg/bbs and www.huasing.org. The viewers of these two websites are mainly chinese, i mean mainland chinese, like myself. I thought that birds of the same feather flock together, maybe a Chinese man would suit me better than a foreigner. 不至于拉, 谈情说爱当然还是用母语啊, 不过我的中文表达能力确实不强, 所以写的话估计还是用英文比较流畅. 这就让我想起来, 有的男生中文学得比我还差, 英文不好也就算了, 怎么中文都讲不好? 真是让我大跌眼镜. 因为我比较看重交流, 所以如果男生中文还没我好, 多半我会觉得这个男生也没什么出息了.(可能带有些偏见吧)

that is rather unfortunate...Just my personal opinion, chances are slim if you go online with a mindset to search for Mr. Right. It's just like arranged matchmaking... just that you arrange it for yourself. The first date becomes a test, no cocktail, no appetizer, things don't get developed... It's like an interview or exam, the poor guy is either be a totally disqualified, lousy person or a nervous, cautious interviewee.
