“不见其利，只见其弊”如果下棋的棋手，人人都是“君子”，人人都遵守“体育精神”，不下假棋，不放分，那不管是棋赛的赛务也好，参赛的棋手也好，大家都肯定不用每年为了“棋赛制度”而伤脑筋。因为不管是分组循环制，还是积分循环制，都是好的制度！
可惜，根据过去的经验，事实并非如此。所以，棋手们每年都会为了全国赛棋赛制度是否公平；是否合理而争论不休。今年也是如此，现在，让我们来审核一下今年A组9+1的棋赛制度，分析一下它的利与弊究竟在哪里？
首先，让我们先了解，实行9+1制度，是否能防止棋手和往年一样，在棋赛最后一轮故意弃权或放分下假棋。依我看，不管有没有+1，到第9轮，那些缺乏体育精神与没机会进入前八强的棋手，还是仍旧会因感情或其他的因素故意弃权或放分下假棋，+1起不了任何阻遏的作用。
我们假设实行+1这个制度是特别为了防止稳进八强的棋手在第八轮放分，让某位棋手有机会进入前八强而采用的。我个人认为这种情形出现的可能，机会非常渺茫。一位棋手在第八轮已经肯定进入八强，他在第9轮如果能够继续获胜的话，肯定能够争取到更好的名次，怎么有可能放分让另外一位棋手获胜，而却因此影响到自己的排名。万一他在第9轮输棋，而那位他放分的棋手，在第9轮也输棋的话，

赛务 and 棋手 ......
as 棋手, we can talk a lot on the systems ..... the rules are there for 2010 Singapore Open, no one is forced to join, as 棋手, we should just hope that the systems are better and better over the years. It is very unfair to 赛务 if any 棋手 plans to force a change in rules at this eleventh hour. The main duties of 棋手 is just to concentrate on the games now and let 赛务 to worry about the systems.
as 赛务, they have to tackle the issues ....... for those problems appear in 2010 Singapore Open if any, they have to review them and plan to have better systems in future.
The recent concluded Vietnam event with 9 + 2 and 9 + 1 systems for the Top 4 and next 4, I believe they have their reasons for using the systems too.
x + 1 systems are used in China too.
The generation of such discussions just one day before the competition is very very unfair to the organisers especially when the rules are released for many many days by now.
