中秋节“老、青、少”象棋邀请赛！（一）宗旨：增进棋友友谊，提高棋艺水平，共同欢度佳节。
（二）日期：2009年10月3日1.00pm。
（三）地点：新加坡象棋总会碧山会所。
（二）邀请队伍：为了配合中秋佳节，队伍以月为名（杀着大全的构思）
1）满月队：
队 员：七月红山联络所乐龄赛优胜者。
2）明月队：
队 员：今年全国公开赛B组优胜者。
3）新月队：
队 员：国家少年队队员。
（三）队员人数：每队8位棋手。
（四）棋赛制度：采用雅柏棋赛的形式，以一轮决胜负。
希望棋友们能踊跃出席观赏，一起欢度中秋的好时光。棋会将提供茶水与月饼，让棋友们一边吃月饼，一边欣赏比赛的对局。

雅柏棋赛的形式
-- every team to have one player each against different teams and in 2 rounds.
中秋节“老、青、少”象棋邀请赛
-- 3队每队8位棋手，以一轮决胜负。
For this method, every team to split into two half-team and play against 2 teams at the same time in one round as below :
3 teams -- 1 round (中秋节“老、青、少”象棋邀请赛)
5 teams -- 2 rounds
7 teams -- 3 rounds (“七雄夺金马“ in 2002, 3 rounds)
9 teams -- 4 rounds
11 teams -- 5 rounds
This method is to reduce the time of round robin system by half but there is a need to double the size of the team (e.g. in this 中秋节邀请赛, need to have 8 players instead of 4 players, to play with the other two teams at the same time), and the total number of teams is an odd number instead of the usual even number.
By the way, 2009 雅柏广场联谊赛 is to be held on 27 Sep 2009, Sunday. (News updated just a few days ago.)
