if you like others to give suggestions, you can discuss and then say this suggestion is not accepted or not practical.
This is not the way to shoot down a suggestion.
My suggestion may be more for future years but I have the concern that if this year Group A is not on due to number of players less than say 20 but more than 10.
if you do not like others to give suggestions, then I just stop here.

After the close of registration in end Jan 2008, we had 57 players registered, with the official information, we could keep to the total of $430 for 9 prizes and 9 trophies as stated in the rules.
Why increase to " up to 17 cash prizes in total of $900 and 29 trophies...." ?
Why provide buffet for 2 days since it was not in the plan ?
Why provide souvenir to all players and workers ?
Of course, 现金变成礼券, it was a serious administrative error, I could refuse to accept those vouchers and let the players to contact the office especially when I was given those vouchers just a few minutes before the prize-giving, instead, I made apologies to all players on the spot.
Our believes --
players like to join competitions and do not really care about the prizes especially for events related to Chinese Cultural Festival.
I really have disappointments with those players bring up 现金变成礼券 again and again .... :(
