Which one is more challenging?That subjects to your particular project! No one else but yourself can tell if the scope of the projects are challenging enough for you. For example, a project from ground up may seem very challenging to you. But to me, who doesn't follow up others' ideas well, may consider a continuation of previous project more challenging. After all, it is you who knows yourself the best.
Well, I always look for fresh ideas
for my HYP, for my master project, for my Ph.D project, blablabla...
