frpapaya, pls come inhow come i cannot reply u after your qn " Are you GY?" is it because there are aleady too many layers?
anyway, i am not GY. Neither i am in the Finance field. that somehow explains why i am going through the trouble to take the CFA exams.
cheers
I see...
That is due to too many layers, since i limit it to be 10. :).
But as what I know, to get CFA title (or membership) you need 3 years experience. If you are not in this area, why don't go to take MFE offered by both NUS and NTU as a part-time master degree for financial engineer? I feel MFE is more suitable for analysis since I feel what they tought really fit well to what I need to be an analysis.
You could take a look of the website at,
http://cfe.nus.edu.sg/curriculum.htm
By the way, I am a qauntitative analysis in a bank doing structure finance. As what I know, only few banks need people in this area in singapore. But situation is improving, since econ is recoverying... hehe...hope trading could go up as well..
