想问一个白痴的问题在新加坡怎样开户啊？需要准备什么文件呢？不知道用student pass可不可以？还有，听说开户金要一万新币，这笔钱多久才可以取出来啊？谢谢大家了！

go to any of the brokers' website and download the application forms. The required document should be stated there. For citizens/PRs, a copy of IC is sufficient.

不知道用student pass可不可以？
Not too sure. But I think SGX being a mature marketplace, non-residents shall be welcomed to invest here.

还有，听说开户金要一万新币，这笔钱多久才可以取出来啊？
I have not been asked to place any deposit so far, after opening accounts with a number of brokers. Anyway, even if you have to place the deposit, you can straightaway use the money to invest.
