姚威和 represented Malaysia to play against Singapore in Apr 2007, he should be considered to have Grade 1 or close to standard, but still joining Group B competition in May 2007 ...... I am not against him in any way, but may be

either one (Apr event or May event) should not put his name in.

He should be allowed to join our Group A only ......

范永康 is having 香港棋手等級分2281.

if we exclude 姚威和 and 范永康 from Group B( i.e. to join Group A directly), we should have two more players promoted to Group A in 2007.

蔡政源 is qualified as Bishan Grade 6 Player (first position in under 14 Char Yong Cup in Mar 2007) before 2007 Group B Competition and Bishan Grade 4 Player after 2007 Group B Competition.

self declaration in the competition registration form and place them in Group A or B, if by mistake and place them in Group A, one way is to allow to downgrade them back to Group B the next year if their performance is no good in the current year Group A. ...... To follow the Hong Kong rule.

1) 三年之内，在各项象棋比赛中2次获得优胜奖
2) 象总全国学生赛18岁组前4名
3) 象总全国学生赛16岁组冠军
八、碧山六级棋士
1) 象总全国学生赛18岁组前8名
2) 象总全国学生赛16岁组前4名
3) 象总全国学生赛14岁组冠军

the grading system of 汕头棋院 (11 grades for the youth) too, have a look at Hong Kong System (more than 20 grades in total).

May be it is easier for Bishan to try out our 12-grade system for all age groups within the club.

Furthermore, we are not having a separate system if you look at the condition in details, e.g.

Grade 1 = Grade A of SIXGA from SIXGA Group A competiton each year

Grade 2 = Grade B of SIXGA from SIXGA Group B competiton each year

Grade 3 = Positons 5 to 8 of SIXGA Group B competiton each year

Grade 4 = Positions 9 to 12 of SIXGA Group B competiton each year

other grades just to take care of various age groups competition of Char Yong Cup organised by SIXGA in March each year.

I did propose to SIXGA in Aug 2006 to have multi grading system to cover the students.

Anyway, SIXGA and all clubs will know about the details of Bishan System on 27 Jun.

尹靖元(in Primary 4?) was 3rd in the same competition.

I do not know anyone will tell him ....

I told SIXGA about him and 郑祥福 standing up so many times during Round 7 and waiting for the result of 朱永吉 and 卢国龙, never project a good image of the National Player.
