IT业有很多认证还是很有用处的比如微软的, Oracle的, CISCO的等等...

Part-time master在NUS的SOC读的机会很大, 当然出去工作一段时间(比如两年)之后, 目标更明确, 回来读更有针对性. 象我们那届的同学后来几乎都回来拿了个master学位...

it depends on which way u want to go in next 10-15 years

Technical or management? IT sector or non IT sector?

A)
Tech: programming-> archetect -> CTO
IT certificates, master in particular subject will help

Mgt: programmer -> project management -> ..
some project mgt courses, MBA, are typical

well, if you are ambitious enough, take both.


B)
IF u opt to nonIT career, get prepared earlier. the earlier, the better and the higher success rate.when u start earlier, you have less obligation and commitment.

A course/degree or a certificate is particular helpful in caree switching.
e.g. ACCA in accouting, MFE in finance.

to know more about career opportunities in other sectors, suggest that you can attend seminars organized by Huasing.

和工作有关的认证比较好吧，感觉兼职研的课程过于高深，对工作的实际作用不是很大搞编程考MCSD/SCEA，数据库考OCM，系统管理员考MCSE/SCNA/ACA/HCSA/RHCE，网络考CCIE……看同事都在谈论什么认证就考什么就好了，要考的话一定要考到顶级，入门级认证一般用处不大。如果有兴趣以后往项目管理方向发展，可以考ＰＭＰ。
