我看socket a 是可以插athlon XP的cpu 的，
可是要看看你的motherboard其他的是否适合升级，

(引用 peip:我的主板是用ddr 的。)you have to update your BIOS.Go to your motherboard manufacturer website and download the latest BIOS. Read the readme to see if that BIOS allow you to support new athlon CPU.
