All SCDF's fire stations, except Jurong Island Fire Station, offer open house on every Saturday from 9.00 am to 11.00 am. The tour of the fire station generally takes about an hour.

Visitors to the fire station open house will generally experience the following in the one-hour programme (subject to manpower resources and availability of appliances due to the emergency role of the fire stations):

Briefing on roles and functions of a fire station, its capabilities and its routine.

Briefing on operational capabilities of the appliances in a fire station

Demonstration on equipment used by firefighters

Demonstration on sliding pole by firefighters
