Parliament passed a new law on Monday which makes it illegal for such home owners to rent out entire apartments and rooms for less than six months, unless they have permission from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to do so. But the URA is studying the option of creating a new category of private homes that will be allowed for short-term rentals, said National Development Minister Lawrence Wong on Monday at the debate on the Planning (Amendment) Bill in Parliament. 有没有成功申请过Airbnb全额退款的?
我也是今天看到这个新闻。悲催的是之前还给我家人订了一个三月份的apartment,现在在考虑取消预订和申请全额退款。

按照Airbnb规定,申请全额退款的话需要他们和房东共同审核,并且需要提交证明材料。我跟房东交流过,他们好像很淡定,说新闻里面的说法一早就有。我去搜查过,的确,URA上面的guidelines一直都是这么写,现在新闻说的只不过是把这些guidelines写成law,而且我在国会和URA的网站上面也还没查到对应的官方消息。

所以,问题来了,如果申请全额退款的话,拿StraitsTimes这种报纸上面的消息当supporting document是不是没什么效力,政府是不是会在近期之内将这新闻对应的法律条文放到网站上面?
