Q:Can I buy or invest in private residential property in Singapore/overseas after I have bought an Executive Condominium (EC) Unit?
A: You cannot buy or invest in private residential property in Singapore/overseas from the time of your EC Unit application to the expiry of the 5-year minimum occupation period (MOP). The MOP is computed from the Temporary Occupation Permit date of the EC Unit (excluding the subletting of whole flat and any period of non-occupation). You can buy private residential property in Singapore/overseas only after the expiry of the 5-year MOP.
