The price can vary a lot depending on your specific requirement/specification.

Try www.hardwarezone.com. Though the prices listed there are not accurate always, they at lease give you a rough gauge.

My desktop is dell dimension 5100. and the original ram is NECC Dual Channel DDR2 (PC-4200) 533MHz. I want to buy an additional ram. Can you recommend one? Is KINGSTON 1GB (PC-4300) 533MHz DDR2-533 ok? Not sure about the difference between PC-4300 and PC-4200? Are they compatible?
