刚才clear mail的时候翻出来的貌似有点马后炮 不过玩S chip的同学们还是看看 多少也可以 知己知彼
据说是fibrechem的CEO...Mr D 应该就是D&H的David
=====================================================================
By the time you read this article, it would reached have hundreds of
investors, bankers, regulators and journalists. My purpose was to shed
some light on the “dark sides” of the business of S-Chips (Chinese
companies listed on Singapore Stock Exchange), so as to help prevent more
financial losses in the future hurting the ordinary people on the street.
From this angle, I wish to redeem myself somewhat.........
It all started some 6-7 years ago. My colleagues and I were just a few of
the million of entrepreneurs in China struggling to make ends meet at the
textile fibre factory that we bought from the government. Some of our
older colleagues had laboured for more than 20 years before having the
chance to “privatise” the state-owned textile fibre factory in Fujian
Province that we have worked for (more...)
my comments
i think most may be true.
net net, i think the death of S-Chip is not really the less compelling fundamentals, but their CEOs, who can use company money to pay margin call. that is the corp governance problems, which take long long time and efforts from various parties to solve.
Though, i can feel his pain of what so ever: hard work, difficult time, temptations from Mr D, success, to now hiding from laws. but i still this guy deserves punishment, simply because: As a reasonable and normal man, he should know that he should not use company money to pay his own debt. This is unethical, irresponsible, and crimial to all the stakeholder of Fiberchem!
Just because the corp governance issue that i have personal experienced in this boom burst cycle from 06 to now, i have sold all my positions in S-chips two weeks ago, and will not looking into S-chip anytime soon albeit a few of them are still ok.
