My company (I don't run it, but I work for it) is looking for a developer, but it is really hard to find a LOCAL developer who is well-versed in development. 很显然 原本可以h1b去美国的印度programmer现在不批了，就会把来新加坡当作一个选择，我说这个本意是，新加坡的很多程序员工作性质其实是programmer，设计核心不在这里

"技术真的过硬的不会答应做project manager"做技术的最大优势是 1. 经验能不断累计，进而加薪。 2. Peaceful mind。 3. 你要牛B，很容易出头, and take the credit. Project manager title 光鲜，但实际上就是个打杂的，容易被替代。需要将生命耗费在无止尽的计划和会议上。 手下人靠谱，轻松些，不靠谱，就只能早衰了。

不是批不批的问题肯定有一定的名额会批，但是原本可以去美国的水准应该是远远好过来新加坡的，supply大于demand后肯定有压力

同学，你错了，好的程序员是不加班的。加班有两种可能， 1.效率太低，解决一个小问题的同时，能搞出了几个大问题。据我观察，通常一个team,人越多，加班越多，问题就越多。问题越多，加班就越多。恶性循环。说到底，是人不靠谱呀。人不靠谱，是无解的，管你project manager有多牛，也没有用，因为靠开会，靠精神激励，是解决不了问题的。兵贵在精，不再多，程序开发，尤其如此。 第二种可能，就是有点变态了，加班是因为觉得爽，因为写程序是会上瘾的。有时解决几个别人搞不定的难题，救了公司的火，是会高潮的，因为第二天，大大大老板就是知道了。 至于你说的忽悠，一次两次可以，年底发bonous的时候，见真章。 说起来，就算当个director, 成天开会，烦这烦那，真的有意思吗。这是吃不到瓜的群众说的。

主要是薪资问题其实工作量各国程序员都差不多。 新加坡本科毕业程序员起薪一般一年也就4.5-5万新左右，北京基本已经在22-25万人民币了。3年基本上在北京翻翻了，在本地可能性极少。 我有朋友07年毕业进谷歌，13年被挖，挖时年薪10万出头，国内是拿着两倍的年薪挖的。

架构师算吗？

说反了吧新加坡几乎所有职业的收入都比国内一线高很多，只有IT等少数几个职业，在高端人员上比国内一线的顶级企业低。
