I support for Huang Jun Ming because I think he is a great player. More even in the opening, middle and endgame compartment. Wu is super strong in the opening and middle, but endgame is less consistent. Lin is good and has experience but lack stamina. Xiong is stable but lack self esteem for greater results. Ni got fighting spirit but not stable. Others black horse like Liao Ming Hao, Hu Hai Yu, Liang Yong Xing and Hou Zhi Xiong got 50% chance to enter top 8 this year.
Master Lin came out last year purely as a act of support for xiangqi and SIXGA..
from this year probably take break and smell the flowers(source : rumours mills).
Mr Xiong probably focus more on career and sit out this round.
Good to see the battle to decide who go for dogfight in china hanxing next year. Best is close games up to even last round. Based on last year results, normal likely is Master Wu vs Master Huang. Surprise could be those in secret trainings. Good luck to these brothers and sisters.
