Does that mean that even if you do well in the competition, you may not rightfully represent Singapore? If that is the case, this means SIXGA can send anyone they like to represent. Then in this case, don't need give so long explaination about having wuzonghan to play for Asia. Just say because SIXGA is paying and SIXGA want wu to play. Every chess players will be LAn Lan. So save the bla bla bla..
If SIXGA is sincerely want to select players base on a fair system. Why can't let WuZongHan go through a selection round? Maybe SIXGA can consider let Wu play against 4th ranked player of 2010 national and winner represents? Atleast this is being fair to 4th ranked player.
