I used to be the Vice President (Public Relations) at NUS Toastmasters Club
It is good to pick up some public speaking skills at TMC.
At NUS, TMC members are divided into premium and ordinary.
Premium memberships are usually restricted to EXCO members and the membership fee is fairly pricy, I should say. I can't recall the exact figure now, but should be more than 50S$ per annum.
Ordinary membership used to be free. I am not sure about now. They may have started to collect a small amount.
It is a good place to chill out and learn something new at the same time. You'll be surprised each time you join them for meeting. The meetings used to fall on every Thursday. Again, no idea about the current status.
As an EXCO member, I got the chance to visit other TMCs, like NUSTM Alumni and NOL etc, mainly in the zonal level.
