The majority of eligible citizens will receive their Solidarity Payment by 14 April 2020, directly in the bank account that they had previously provided to the Government[1]. The rest will receive payment by cheque, which will be issued in stages starting from 30 April 2020. Eligible citizens will receive notification of their payment via SMS, by 15 April 2020.
[1]This refers to the bank account that citizens provided to Government to receive past payouts such as SG Bonus in 2018, or GST Voucher in 2019, if eligible
