abt applying US Non-immigrant visa in ChinaIt seems that according to the place we live, work or study, we will need to resort to either embassy or consulates for US visa application (the so-called consular district). My case seems to be a perplexing one:
1. My permanant home is situated in JiangXi province (in the charge of Beijing embassy)
2. My passport was issued in JiangSu province (in the charge of Shanghai consulate)
3. My current place of work/study is in Singapore (in the charge of hell?)
I have no clue as which embassy/consulate I should go to. So anyone has any experence about this? I am most most most grateful for advice and comments.
singapore
you can apply in singapore, after you come back in June. it will take 2 weeks to do this. Last year I came back in mid of June. It's easier to get in Shang Hai and Singapore. The only one who didn't get Visa last year in my class applied in BeiJing. And I heard that all those applied in SH and Singapore succeeded. So you'd better not try in BJ, though you can apply the second time if you failed, just some money...
