serv-u ftp user==>

i was using the programe for 2 months.. but today it was infected with backdoor.torjan

i redownload the program and install and the files are still infected.

anyone experiencing the same thing?
any solutions?

You'll need to kill the trojan before you can fix

it. Without killing the trojan, whatever you install won't help.

Did you perform a full scan?

Also, did you reboot your system to get rid of the memory-resident processes?

I also experienced the same prob

but if u look at the exe file that norton blocks, it's a serv-u daemon, so i guess most probably norton mistakenly categorizes the behavior as backdoor virus.

you must have installed Serv-U4.1.0.3

Just uninstall it and reinstall Serv-U4.0.0.4 lor.

4.0.0.4 has no such a problem.

sometimes norton is stupid; or maybe serv-u4.1.0.3 really contains virus. I downloaded the serv-u4.1.0.3 from official site, norton still report that it is infected by virus.

just ignore the warning by norton, hehe

sometimes it considers installation scripts as virus also.
