a Chinese version of WinXP or Officen?

in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config
what is the meaning of the line:
FontPath "unix/:7100"
do I just add other font pathes below this line?

in the fonts dir I also find TTF dir, could I just diretly put ttf font files for windows under this dir?

miniChinput is installed but when I try Chiput, it leades to a segmentation fault.
downloaded ZWinPro srouce but make got many errors.

the latest link in Chinput home page seems broken.

still can not read/input Chinese in xterm or gaim.

I've not used xp, so I know little about it. in win2k all windows fonts are placed in c:/winnt/Fonts/. \n\nunix/:7100 specifies the port of the font server. but you don't need it to display the truetype fonts. and the order doesn't matter within the same section.\n\nTTF is some other files provided by your linux. i feel it's better to have a seperate directory for the turetype fonts from ur windows, such as /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType.\n\n\ni find the chinput website accessable at, \nhttp://www.opencjk.org/~yumj/project-chinput-e.html\n\nhaven't tried input chinese, will try some time later. can't help lor.\n\nlinux distros differ from one another, check source dependence first. \ne.g.\nchk if ur source needs 'make' provided by your sys or 'gmake'. they are some how different, though we often call them as make.
