Fellow Zombies! Our Time is at hand! The dead shall rise and we shall feast on fresh brains!

We’ll meet 2pm at City Hall MRT. I’ll be around there holding a placard with a big red “Z”. Congregate there.

By 2.30pm, we’ll move to the staging area. Here’s where we put on make-up for those who are too shy to wear gory make up to the venue, as well as apply on the artistic dabs of blood here and there. We’ll have a few helpers to help with the make-up and help carry around anything you don’t want to lug around as a zombie. Still, it’s better to carry as little as possible.

This is also when I’ll brief you guys on the final details: The dos and donts, zombie specific callsigns and signals, as well as how to keep in character, and even a little practice for the uninitiated.

Hopefully by 3.30pm, we’ll be ready to burst through the doors of Raffles City and terrorize the living. I was thinking of having the route in the streets, but looking at the weather these days, its better to go underground. We’ll shamble through Raffles City to City Link. Don’t worry about the authorities making a fuss, but of course don’t go around harassing bystanders too much (unless they seem willing!). We may be zombies, but we’re Singaporeans still(!), so try not to stray from the main group too much. As this is the first time we’re gonna do such a crazy thing, its better to play safe. If its a success we’ll eventually implement more fun into the shamble, such as willing ‘victims’. Anyway, We’ll end our shamble at Marina Square, and if you’re game, we could even split up and spread throughout the entire complex. But I’ll leave that to democracy.

While I’ve got the route and itinerary set, I don’t want to divulge too many details yet, its got to be kept as spontaneous as possible.

What to bring:
As little as possible, of course, coz you’ll probably need to bring along your stuff for the walk unless you can find a helper to help you carry your stuff. Try to be self sufficient.

Zombie clothes – by now you should have singled out an old set of clothes. Artfully rip them here and there for better effect. We’ll help with the ripping during the prep stage too.

Make up – Do bring your own, but ill be bringing some industrial grade makeup (mostly blacks and blues of course). Mirrors as well. Preferable if you brought your own blood too, but we’ll bring some as well.

A change of clothes if you don’t want to go home looking like a zombie heh. Fake blood dont dry that easily on clothes you see.

A friend who absolutely refuses to partake in this heathen cult and get him/her to take pictures for you as well as hold your stuff. They double up as potential prey as well =D.

And that’s about it! I really hope to see zombies out in force. We can make this work!
