偶去年的appeal letter，8分就能让OSA的老太太俯首给房！

Dear Ms. Khoo:

My name is ZF, I am PRC scholarship student studying in science faculty. This new semester I will be a third year student.

I feel very sorry to disturb you; I know recently you are very busy facing the residential appeals. But I really have some urgent condition and have some problem, so that I may trouble you again.

At the first of this vacation, I knew that I couldn’t earn enough ECA points and I decided to rent a room outside of the campus. When I started to find the room for rent by several ways, I found that my scholarship is not enough for me to rent a HDB room or apartment room. Through my found, the cheapest room (share with another roommate) is above S$250--300 per month. Water, electricity and gas fees are not including it. I have to add S$50 per month for them. And also, I have to pay about S$50 per month on the bus. That means I have to pay S$350-400 for rent room. My scholarship is only S$650 per month (S$500 free money per month for eating, S$150 additional per month for renting room, I have only S$250 to buy food. Besides of that, my parents in China are very normal workers, their salaries are very limited. I come Singapore to study is want to earn money to support them; I really cannot open my mouth to them for asking money.

Now my parents are getting older and older, every week I call back to them and give my regards. Every time they show very strong wish to get good news and interesting news from me. But during, I never call back. Even sometimes I am afraid to call back to them.
As you know, every parents ask “how is your living, how is your study?” such question first to their oversea child. Especially in China, since we all single child, parents’ wishing is extraordinary. Although I don’t have room to stay, I don’t want to tell my parents and that will make them feel nervous.

Now I am living in NTU hall of residents. At 8th of July, I checked out from PGP. Since that time I hadn’t found ideal room for me, so that I have to share a double room with one of my NTU friend. My friend’s roommate is taking his holiday in China so that I can take up a place. As same as in NUS, borrow room in NTU is also illegal. But now I have no other methods.

If I will be free until the end of July, I will try my best to find room outside the campus. Because I know this email is very unreasonable and trouble a lot. But I have more problems.

I am MOE scholarship student. After I graduate from NUS, I will go to NIE and become a teacher. From 10th of July to 22nd of July, MOE organized an attachment for us. My colleague students and me are sent to different primary schools to get familiar with the life in primary schools. Everyday I have to go to primary school to study the teaching skill by practice and teach. Mine is afternoon session work, I work from 1200pm to 630pm (Mon to Sat).

I have to get up early to prepare the work. I don’t have any time to find room again because my school attachment is compulsory to attend. Now I get more and more worried day by day. NTU new semester will start on 15th of July. My friend’s roommate will come back very soon; by that time I really have no other place to go.

Now I really need your help to give me a room in the campus. Please forgive me for my unreasonable request, but I hope you consider my request.

你照这个东东发个email给OSA，然后再亲自去一趟。注意：OSA这个时候就是绝对的红灯时间，经过这么多年的学生appeal，OSA已经对中国学生基本上横眉冷对了。一般是上来劈头盖脸一顿骂，这个时候你一定别让他骂晕了，就皮笑肉不笑的接着他，脑子里想好了等他骂过了你怎么对答。要有理有力，不卑不亢，坚定信心绝对能要到房子！

写这个，英文不好才是好，要是照您意思写的千军万马，汹涌澎湃，OSA一看：操！这小子不是善茬，这么臭牛B，自己绝对能搞定房子的问题！你丫不就歇B养伤了。连OSA大门都不用进就给你踹出来。要想弄房子，就是得弄点破腚出来，似乎自己手忙脚乱的样子，懂吗？

估计能发出你这番评论的条件有3

1) 毕业久了，不懂的现在NUS的通行准则。
2) 毕业久了，英文呱呱叫了，当我们是天真无牙，跟我们吹毛求屁，班门弄爹。
3) 学习狂，自己没事儿背英文字典加语法书，当是精神食粮。

家庭收入证明(单位证明也行),机会应该蛮大的.GOOD LUCK!
