银行求职经历（3）barclays capital－risk10月8号申请＋online test，11月13号电话面试，12月8号收到拒信 BarCap网申有几道open-ended qn，why BarCap, why this department，之类。 然后是math和verbal的SHL。题目不难。verbal单词量要求不高，比gmat容易点。不过时间要掌握好。而且得找个安静的环境，不会突然hang住或蓝屏或断网的电脑，以及准备好草稿纸，笔和计算器。 SHL通过之后等了一个月才等来电面通知。电面那天我把手机充满电，把barclays的网站和我的application打开，其他银行的application也打开（准备念故事用），万事具备，却忘了家旁边有个建筑工地，巨吵。。以至那天我和面试官都一直说pardon pardon，他还问我家是不是有条狗。。我狂道歉。还是一般的HR问题：在一个team没有direction的时候怎么办？最近一次被批评是什么时候，我有什么反应？在实习中学到了什么？etc。 对其中一个问题印象深刻：选工作的时候top 3 criteria是什么？我说了，面试官又问，你说的这些criteria别的银行也能满足啊，比如credit suisse, db, hsbc, blah blah，为什么你偏偏选barclays呢？我心想，我也知道啊，所以你说的这些银行我不是都报了嘛，哈哈。。最后勉强给了个答案。看来做好事前功课很重要， (more...)
