The fear of losing job and the decrease in high end private condo, will force mid-class to turn to HDB for safer yield and less volatility.
Couple of my colleagues have already dropped the idea of buying a condo, and turn to HDB.
According to URA report, condo in central area did drop 1.8% in last quarter but HDB go up 4.5%.
It is a very simple demand and supply question, there are simply not enough HDB for ppl to buy.
