我先来抛砖引玉：关于这个问题，papaya在他的《哦在新的炒股经验》一文中介绍了很多，不过他也不可能每种平台都用过，所以用过的不妨分享一下经验。
（ 一 ）炒股的平台（初学者用）
1）。DBS TD WaterHouse. 哦用这个，不是最好得，不过别的哦没试过。

可以同时交易 USA, 深圳B, 上海B, 香港和新加坡的股票。不过汇率是当天的闭市价。
没什么特别的要求，不过用学生证没有Trading Credit. 所以要放钱进去。EP 和 PR 根据工资定 Trading Credit Limit. 开始哦才３０００。不过，可以用 Bank Deposit Certificate来提高 Trading Limit.
好象只可以在 DBS Center（在PWC Building）开户口。 可以坐MRT到 Raffle’s Place. 看一下地图吧，蛮好找的。 带好Passport, IC (for PR), EP or Student Pass, Bank Book, Pay Slip. 就可以了。要添4张表格。1 for CDP, 1 for DBS TD WaterHouse, 1 for Link the two Account and 1 GIRO. 一下就可以做完了。
要等2周吧，就可以拿到两封信。一个是Account Number, 一个是密码。呵呵。然后就可以开练了。。。
开户是免费的，也没年费。一次成功的交易是25S$，放order是免费的。
2）UOB Kay Hian 听说很好用，不过哦没用过。

3)POEM

就是大家常说的philip securities的网站，满多人用得，听说不错。
4）ETRADE
网址：www.etrade.com
听说：“service 很好，添好表格用快递寄过去，再去银行转一转钱，一个礼拜就能搞定。”
5）OCBC
网址：www.iocbc.com -- ocbc
6）。SGＸ， 不可以交易，只可以看股价。不过可以看到很多公司的资料。

进去后去listed companies->Corporate Information.
有所有的资料，哦一般只看 Annual Report 和 Company’s All-in-one info 的股价history.

问一下，个人可以直接申请SGX的会员资格吗？绕过经纪直接交易，可以省下经纪费了。
对于trader来说应该还是不错的。

As for Equity, its clearing is more complex, that is the reason they have Clearing Members (basically the broking houses) to clear the trades.[神州六号 (3-24 14:18, Long long ago)]

TT 是交易届 普遍认为最好的 platform. 也最贵， 界面 等等 都很 user-friendly.
如果 你是 day-trader, 那么你需要最快的 ACTION, 最快的连线， 但如果 你不是， 根本不用考虑这些。

heard UOBKaysian is not bad, but no idea how goo)Points to note when you read analysts' reports ...Basically, you need to identify which kind of reports it belongs to:
1. All SGX licenced analysts are asked to produce n reports within a certain time frame (I cannot remember how long) and therefore certain reports are just produced to fullfill the requirement (we called it 'national service').
2. Some reports are not produced by analysts, instead, they are prepared by some company's staff such as people from the Institution Sales Department.
3. Reports produced by technical analysts or fundamantalist? which type suits you more?
4. Reports normally include the target price. Read this carefully because it should state it as 12-months, 6-months, 3-months or just short-term target.
5. For the same counter, some may call for 'buy' and others may call for 'sell'. So you need to gather all reports recommended by different houses and consolidate them into a table and find out what is the consensus of different analysts.
6. Who is the author? What is the author's position in the company. Junior? Senior? Years of experience? Past history of reporting?
Hence, when you read reports, you need to identify what kind of reports they are, that is which category of reports they belong to. Very importantly, is this the type of reports that you are looking for?
For now, I can only think of the above six points. Please feel free to add in more, if any.
