2-cents tips on interview (may be misleading, open for discussion)
for certain cases only, may be wrong,
if you have different points or more points, pls share with us;
for reference only, don't follow exactly
1)
Show your passion, if not at least show your interest; don’t look more bored than the interviewers!
2)
Give detailed examples if asked to do so, prepare for that, don’t always give general answers, which indicates that you don’t know much about your past work, study or your own character, etc.
3)
If you already prepare some standard answers for some standard questions, please make sure they’re correct! Don’t answer wrongly. It’s worse than saying you don’t know.
4)
Do preparation or research of the company and industry or any related matters. Your a little bit preparation shows that you’re interested in this job position and you want this job
5)
Make sure you be there early, don’t be late! Make sure you know the way, even if you’re lost, don’t tell the interviewer, especially you’ve already been there for 2 times for 2nd interview!
6)
If you keep on saying nice things of your former boss and former company, make sure you have the right answer when asked why you quit. Prepare this answer to make it convincible and reasonable even if it’s actually fake or excuse only.
7)
Study the job scope of the position, don’t be too-soft if this position needs strong communication skills with outside people; don’t be over-confident if you’re under someone and your work needs a lot of corporation with others and a lot of communication going on and misunderstanding and delay are unavoidable.
8)
If you were jumping here and there for the past recent years, make sure you have a clear, reasonable, and convincible answer when asked about quitting, switching jobs.
9)
If you’re applying jobs that require extra patience and care, e.g. quality, make sure you don’t make careless mistakes in your resume and interview.
10)
If you’re concern about the pay, don’t be afraid to ask, otherwise you’re the one suffering
11)
Don’t forget write your age (or date of birth) and status (single or married) in your resume, and please attach a photo (don’t think that your resume is so powerful that these small things doesn’t matter)
12)
Over-qualification is possible
13)
Check the address of the company yourself, or ask your friend; if you really cannot find the place, then call the company to ask (don’t ask the company in the first place)
14)
For whatever you write in your resume, make sure you can talk several minutes about it; otherwise don’t put it in;
15)
Be aware of the overall picture; e.g. if you’re doing part of a job, part of a whole process, make sure you also know a little about the entire flow; don’t be restricted to your own small box;
16)
It’s good to be calm. But if you’re really nervous, it’s ok, as long as you still can speak and can be understood by interviewers.

很好的tips,支持方向决定了正确,细节决定了成败。[神经兮兮 (1-11 18:16, Long long ago)] [ 传统版 | sForum ][登录后回复]2楼
这是我从我们公司这2天面试的人中总结出来的,我参加的那轮panel interview 有30分钟,30分钟过后我基本上可以回答yes or no or preference,而且和其他参加interview 的同事一起我们有几乎完全相同的选择; 面试还没有全部结束,我们已经有相对可以接受的人选,如果明天的人更好,那我们就会选明天的,如果不行,那么我们就会选原来那个;
我记录了下来我们在面试中发现的问题,我希望以后自己找工作可以尽量避免可以避免的问题。
(其实,我发现我以前被面试的时候有过很多类似的错误或失误,现在换了一个方向,很多东西就比较清楚了)
