Silly British Visa policyThe British Visa policy is ridiculous.

They require a lot of unnecessary stuff for a simple travel there. And just imagine this: they charge you 151 Singapore Dollars (116 visa fee, 20 service charge and 15 extra if paying by cash!!!) in total just for a 6 month multiple entry visa (there is no single-entry visa, apparently they are in favor of wholesale, these greedy people). And you may assume that things must be convenient if they ask for so much:no way! They ask you to come back at the exact date and time slot to pick up the visa (other countries usually allow several days delay if the passport holders cannot make it).

The British consulate simply think too good of themselves: we pay so much even just to get a visa, and afterwards we send money to your country and we eat your aweful British food (is there a British food? I doubt). And you still stick to such a silly policy. Their heads must be blurred by the foggy weather.
