守擂者 are 洪福阳 and 符策权, they need to defend their positions of No. 7 and No. 8 after Phase 2.

Each 擂台赛 with two games per pair with 攻擂者 playing Red in the first game.

First 攻擂者 陈靖龙 withdrew from the competition (due to school works) after Phase 2 ended on 23 Jan 2010.

On 24 Jan 2010, 攻擂者宋易达 won 守擂者符策权 with 1 win and 1 draw.

On coming Saturday 30 Jan 2010, we have two pairs 擂台赛 as below : --

盲棋赛柳大华师徒双剑合璧

　　11月29日，1980、81年蝉联全国男子象棋冠军、象棋国际特级大师湖北柳大华携弟子党斐大师在武汉大学进行二对十八盲棋表演，取得2胜2平2负战绩，2008年首届世界智力运动会中国代表团首金获得者湖北汪洋大师亲自担任现场棋谱记录传递工作。

柳大华师徒助兴第三届“学府杯”中国象棋高校擂台赛闭幕式，师徒坐在两张桌子前，背对棋盘，以盲棋的形式同时对弈六台（每台3人）。首先，由高校方的六台棋手们依次走出第一步，每台的3位棋手可以互相商量决定走子；然后，柳大华下每台第二步；接着由高校方的六台棋手们依次走出第三步；然后党斐接着下每台第四步，柳党师徒交替着与六台棋手对弈，依次循环直至棋局结束。05年8月，柳大华师徒曾在河南驻马店表演二对十，3胜4和3负。师徒配合对弈过程中不得商量，既要记住自己棋步，又要记住配合者的棋步，难度远高于单人盲棋车轮战。



柳大华师徒首台五六炮对左三步虎、第四台中炮横车对顺炮直车胜出，第三台东道主武汉大学象棋队李物让、高钟琴、王可然中炮过河车对屏风马平炮兑车急进中兵、第五台华中科技大学象棋队裴灿浩、亓浩、付樟华五六炮对左三步虎还以颜色，第二、六台成和。
