Linux installation and boot problem但是出现了一系列的问题， 不知道是什么原因。。。

c/d/e 是我的windows partition, 占大约66G;
F原来有10G, 我把它重新partition 用来装redhat linux 9.

首先, when i install redhat from cdrom, it comes to the option and ask me whether i want to use graphical installation or text installation. i chose graphical... but after a while (before the redhat UI comes out), my monitor automatically shutdown (due to no input signal)... i tried several times but same problem occurs.

I chose text mode... and the second problem occures:

-我不可以新建 /boot partition.... (i only create 2 partitions: root and swap)

不管它，我一直装到最后， 弄了个floppy boot disk.

用floppy 启动linux, 在出了一大堆[ok]之后， 我的monitor 又没有了信号。。。

可怜我装了一天， 连个linux 的Graphical Interface 也没看到。

reply/boot partition is not compulsary and by default it will install to /mbr.
I suspect RH9 didnt recognise your hardware, maybe due to lack of driver or driver conflicts.
