fyiyes, it is quite easy to stay back in KE7.
all the activities are not that competitive comparing to other halls.
if you wanna earn points by merely joining sports, i am afraid it gonna be very tiring and less turnout.
for sports:
besides sports you can think of, last year there were no athletics, touch rugbi, sahbadakuan (don't know how to spell :$).
normally we have:
IHG sports:
road relay, basketball, volleyball, net ball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, swimming, soccer, hokkey
non IHG sports:
Wei qi, chinese chess, International chess, carrom, fencing, tai kwon do, wu shu (if it is not in culture)[BlueDolphin (7-18 12:04, Long long ago)]

JCRC (most ppl will not join, although it is granded for next year's accomodation)
Culture Committee Sports
you can earn points from these areas according to your preferences.
most ppl will combine culture, committee & sports together, as to have a varied of oppotunities to know ppl, enrich yourself and earn points.
the 3 sectors may carry different base point each year, therefore ppl would like to get involved in all 3 areas. and you will only know how many points you get till the end of academic year.
normally 5 to 6 hall activities will grant your staying back.
if you are expertise, no matter in which area. you can appeal to stay back even if you do not have enough points.
which sports are you good at, btw?

...)other stuff you need to consider1. better choose a hall which is nearer to your faculty
2. what you wanna gain? Dean's List or stay back?
it is not easy to get the two at the same time, and it is true that KE is comparatively easy to stay back. but not all ppl in KE get Dean's List on the other hand.
3. you wanna push yourself to physical limit, and live all your life in euthusiasm?
if so, you should join some sports hall, e.g. Eusoff, Shares. their activies are more challenging. and always remember you are foreigner.
4. you wanna a peaceful studying environment, come to KE. she gives you a feeling called home.[BlueDolphin (7-18 12:40, Long long ago)]
