==>err..我不知道hedge fund的ops还要做modelling什么的(至少我公司的ops不做)，因为model都是现成的，软件买来用就好了(当然那些model你自己也需要懂一些。) start up的好处是机会比较多 - 我有同事就是做了两年risk mgmt然后转去做euqity team的analyst了。sales跟marketing跟ops和investment关系都不大
IB的ops我觉得很难出头的（如果你最终是想做别的东西的话).跟structurig, sales&trading都离得太远了。或者比较而言，如果你在ib里面可以从ops混到front office, 你在hedge fund里面同样可以。(而且机会还要大很多)
当然不可否认ib的收入比较好。(起码短期内要好不少。)所以长线短线要自己选择了。
