1999年第2届“孙炳炎”杯象棋棋王赛日期：1999年12月3日至9日；
参赛棋手：林源福、李庆先、刘剑慧、赖汉顺、苏成富、王维庆、林耀森、林金星；
棋赛成绩：
第一阶段：第1名：林金星（总局分10分）、第2名：王维庆（总局分9分）、第3名：赖汉顺（总局分9分），进入第二阶段的棋赛挑战第1届棋王康德荣。
李庆先的总局分也是9分，但王维庆胜赖汉顺，和李庆先得3分、赖汉顺胜李庆先负王维庆得2分、李庆先和王维庆负赖汉顺得1分，因此屈居第4无法进入第2阶段的竞赛，殊为可惜。
第二阶段：赖汉顺总场分5分、总局分10分居第一；康德荣总场分5分、总局分9分居第二；王维庆总场分2分、总局分4分居第三；林金星总场分0分、总局分1分居第四。
据说由于赛后有人投诉赖汉顺与林金星下假棋，康德荣又一次争议性的荣登棋王宝座。（1999年我因病还在修养，对这件事的详情不是很清楚，如有人知道详情，不妨发表。）
Truth behind the competition!!!
This competition was to choose a representive to represent sg to go to USA for a international competition.
First part: 7Rds (Previous Champion do not need to join the match!!!)
Second part: Round Robin (First part top 3 players plus the previous champion)
1 day rest in between the first part and 1 day rest before the start of part 2.
Fair play????? champion after 13 rds at age of 20 or 21 was banned due to copying of a whole game in china....
That mean young potient players should not copy any games from china???
Please post all full games played in china so no one should play e same game if its played before by china players as it copying and will be banned in Singapore!!!
All top players records should be checked if any full games are played the same as china players!!! especially the winnin side!!! (Han Soon won the copying game!!!)
