hi, we are supposed tobuild up several webpages, and embed a search engine. we are not required to write the engine from scratch by ourselves. Instead, the lecturer allows us to search on the Internet possible source code or binary that can fulfil the functionality. The search engine should be able to search local content rather than information spreaded over the Internet. Suppose i have 8 webpages and one webpage contains the word "Botanic". If user enters "botanic" for search, then i should return the URL of that webpage ( in arbitrary format ) Thanks for taking time off reading this post and hope very much that you can give some instructions.
