接下来应该去找正确的设置了，去www.muohio.edu看看（如果这个site都不能访问的话我想应该选择放弃）在搜索栏中输入library，一目十行地浏览一下搜索结果，很快看到一个url: http://www.lib.muohio.edu/，就是它了!进去一看，很顺利的找到了正确的proxy配置指南

Internet Explorer tries to make the libraries' proxy server the default for all internet traffic....we only want it for plain web traffic, so please follow these directions too:

* Click on "Advanced..."
* Uncheck "Use the same proxy server for all protocols".
* Erase ALL information for "Secure:", "FTP:", "Gopher:", and "Socks:"

* Click on "OK".
* Click on "OK".
* Click on "OK" once more."

Once your configuration is set, you will be prompted for a username and password EVERY time you start your browser. While this is can be a pain, it will ensure that you can access all library materials that are accessible from campus.
Your username and password correspond to your general university-wide uniqueID and password combination, which is also used by your Novell login.

By default, your password will consist of the two-digit month of your birthday, the two-digit date of your birthday, and the last 4 digits of your social security number; otherwise, you have reset it at some time.....my birthday is January 30th, so mine might look like this:

Username: cassonrd
Password: 01301234
