关于申请PR的解答
有人问如何申请PR,以及申请PR的条件和要求,先告诉大家一共有多少种PR,我们一般上都是第一种。
1)Professionals, Technical Personnel & Skilled Workers Scheme (PTS)
Most PR applicants probably come under this scheme. You can apply if you already have a job in Singapore, hold a valid P or Q employment pass, are less than 50 years old, and have been working in Singapore for some time. Applicants can include their spouses and unmarried dependent children (only below 21 years old!) in the same application. Your application will be assessed under a Points System, which takes into account your:
· type of employment pass,
· duration of stay in Singapore,
· academic qualifications,
· basic monthly salary,
· age and
· kinship ties in Singapore.
2)Landed Permanent Residence (LPR)
If you have acceptable professional, tertiary or specialist qualifications and are interested in relocating to Singapore, but are not yet working in Singapore, you can apply for Landed PR under this scheme. Successful applicants have up to 2 years to find a job or relocate their families to Singapore, upon which permanent residence will be granted.
3)Approval-in-Principle for Permanent Residence Scheme (AIP-PR)
This scheme is open to people of Hong Kong. If you are a permanent resident of Hongkong or can prove that you have or used to have rights of abode there, you can be granted a 5-year approval-in-principle PR. Permanent residence will be granted as soon as you find a job in Singapore or relocate your family here within the time limit.
4)Foreign Artistic Talent Scheme
Singapore’s young and flourishing arts scene is crying out for new artistic talents! We need people in fields such as art, photography, dance, music, theatre, literature and film. You may apply if you have had formal training and / or have relevant working experience. You have to be an established artist, with a reputation in your own country and preferably in other countries as well.
Applicants need to get together a detailed resume with supporting materials (portfolio, press reviews, etc.) and submit it to the National Arts Council for assessment. Suitable candidates will receive a PR application form. The NAC will recommend you to Singapore Immigration and Registration once they receive your completed form.
PR artists under this scheme will enjoy the same status and benefits as Singaporean artists. Like Singaporeans, you’ll be eligible to apply to the NAC for grants, to be nominated for arts awards, and to represent Singapore in overseas arts events.
5)Deposit Scheme
Calling all entrepreneurs! If you are a foreign investor, have a good track record and are interested in investing in Singapore, this is the scheme for you. You must first be willing to deposit S$1.5 million with the Singapore government (hence “deposit scheme”). Your investment projects must be approved by the Economic Development Board, too.
