A review of <A beautiful mind >
Tonight just finished reviewing my favourite movie piece:
This movie is based on the real story of Nash, who won the Nobel's Prize on Economicos
Because our EC lecturer has mentioned Nash's theory many times, so it is really natural for me to concenred more on his trend-way to his theory and his "Economicis-Style"
In fact his prized-theory came into his mind when he was in a bar together with his friends. Then one blonde came in, together with other "second-choice" lady(Nash's words). In this moment, His friends was just coming to talk about Adam Smith's theory, which is"Best results comes, if everyone in the group doing what is best for himself". This caused a brain-storm for Nash. He anolysed this by using the blonde example in front of them:(This is the most fantastic part)
"If all of you go for the blonde, you block each other. Not a single one of us could get her.so we go to her friends, they will all give us a cold-shoulder, because nobody like to be a second choice. But what if no one goes for the blonde? We dont get each other's way, and we dont insult the other girls and so we will win!"
Basing on this anolyse, he concluded:
"The best result would come, if everyone of the group doing what is best for himself, and the group!"
so "Adam Smith is wrong!"
This is really cool and fantastic!
besides of this, some of Nash's words are really "Cool"
when was asked "what is the difference between genius and most genius? ", he answered"Quite a lot!'
and i think the most "economics" one would be "Your comfort comes to my second ability to get mourn!", when being asked to leave one window open by his student, as it was hot.
Of course, the following part wont be forgotten as well:
"Personally, i think this class would be a waste of your, and what is infinitely worse, my time. However, here we are, so....you may attend or not, you may complete your assignment, we have to go."
This is the part that i think is the most faint part in his words.
