Do I still need a VEP then?
Now officially, we have to tell you that by right, yes, you do. But by left, it is completely unenforced and not something you have to scratch your head about. Do note though, Malaysia can and may decide in the future to fully implement this VEP policy so it might be worth registering for it anyway to future-proof yourself.
