(a) Mortgagor's fees
HDB may act for you, the mortgagor. There shall be a minimum mortgagor's fee of $20 for acting in the mortgage. (There shall also be a minimum fee of $20 for acting in the purchase)
(b) Mortgagee's fees
HDB cannot act for your mortgagee bank. The bank will therefore engage its own lawyers to prepare the relevant loan documentation. You will be required to pay legal fees to them in addition to the legal fees set out above. Please check directly with your bank as to the fees that you will have to pay to your bank's lawyers.
